NYC Pie is a reliable way to satisfy all your thin crust cravings. They have a teeny store in Def Col Market with just about three neat but utilitarian tables. It’s probably a better idea to order – they deliver promptly.
I like that they have a compact menu – too many options is too much for hungry Yasha. I’ve ordered and happily worked through the Yellow Cab Special (plain Pepperoni), the Uptown (Chicken, fresh Basil, Pesto, Pine Nuts and Cherry Tomatoes), and the El Barrio (Jalapeno, Black Olives and Red Onions). Be careful though – they mean it when they call their spicy sauce ‘spicy sauce’ – I had to throw away most of the Firecracker (Peri Peri Chicken, Red Onions, Garlic and Mushrooms) because I was worried it would burn my face off.
They also have a range of pastas I’ve never bothered to try. I wish they’d add desserts to their menu.
