The only way to miss CP’s resurgence as a food and shopping hub is to live in a city other than Delhi. Unfortunately, like the start up bubble, there’s only hope for one out of every dozen half baked efforts being put up. Thankfully, Chi is that one.
I’m so in love with their multitoned smoke pattern wall art that I considered trying to replicate it at home. Then laziness and fear prevailed. With lovely high ceilings this is one of my go to restaurants in CP.
I’m a fan of their signature cocktails and they have more gin cocktails than most places, which I love. It’s a decent bar menu. The food is a little spotty, the Gyoza is excellent, juicy and the flour wrapping appropriately thin and giving. Their Khao Suey isn’t bad either. The Nasi Goreng is a disappointment though – it was served cold and missing the zing you expect from Thai spices.
The crowd is mostly quiet families and young professionals.
